Well the day is almost here I'm getting a new pit tomorrow.  ;D  ;D
Well new to me I'm buying Rod Livingston of R&R BBQ from him.
It's an East Texas Smoker Company some of you have seen it and some comps in AZ & NV.
We are doing a small backyard cook off in Cedar City UT. tomorrow and R&R is coming to it too.
Looking forward to cooking on it for the first time.

Will let all know how it cooks tomorrow.
R&R has done very good with this pit this year.
Hope some of their skills will come with it.

Will post photo tomorrow from Cedar.

Made some changes nothing to big. Moved the battery to the front under the sink made more room for wood. Added a shelf behind the tire on the pit side of the trailer. replaced filler hose and added hose clamps on the water tank. Cleaned the fire box and pit out.

nice rig!

I have never used a reverse smoke type rig, I am curious to find out - the heat must be pretty stable going around like that, it must take a while for the smoke to get out.

The heat is very stable.
I was amazed just how even the heat is from front to back.
I have never used a reverse flow too, so far I like it a lot.
The temp adjustment on these East Texas Pit are out of this world too.
Small adjustments gets you fast changes.  ???
As for the smoke I closed the vent on the fire box the last time I cooked in it (by the way it took no time at all for the fire to go out).
It took just second for the smoke to start flowing out the stack.

I'm keeping it for vending, whole hug and PC.
At some time it and the new one will be on a bigger trailer with sink, stove all the goodies.
That will be next year some time.
