This hideously ugly beast is a combonation of a Old Smokey 18" grill and a WSM 18.5 center, along with some creative grate bracketing. She/He/It is butt (pardon the pun) ugly but it burns like a champ.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Click on "Reply" instead of --oh wait. You know how to make a link. Use the IMG link, and copy the box under the pic in Flickr after you pic "all sizes"

MAYBE WE CAN GET THE ADMINISTRATOR TO "STICKY' THE PICS POST...hint hint

subtle, ain't I?

AND BLIND, SINCE IT IS ALREADY PINNED! CAN'T HEAR, CAN'T SEE, CAN'T COOK--SOMEBODY USE ME FOR TARGET PRACTICE!! :D

Thanks, Franken Smoke kinda grows on ya, No Challenger offers yet. Infact I called Weber to get a feel for if they were interested in a swap and no go, not even a little. I am  kinda fond of that little Smokey Joe, I am almost too curious as to how it will burn and I am about ready to fire it up. I'm thinking a nice ash catcher mod would make that little SJ-100 just about as good as it gets for the Smokey Joe series.

Here is a pick of my most used hardware, my Smokey Joe Silver along with a cheap Gas grill and a Menards Cabinet smoker, which btw works real decent, are at the campground

Where U is, Joe? We have a map on "Platial" where you can post your location, that way if you ever need an assist, or want to have some sort of neighborhood thing, we can all find ya. There's a "pinned" thread around here somewhere...

And it's cold there in December, not so much here. And there's an event in early December. Come see us then! Are you near the beautiful town of Gary? Isn't that New Jersey West? A good friend of mine is from Jasper. I told him about the competition there a few months ago. I told him I didn't unnerstan' how a place so small could put on a competition so large!! My wife is from Clinton, IA, and I grew up in the big city--just outside DC. I pick on little towns, but I always enjoy visiting them....
