100% agreed Dave.

John did attempt the "plumber crack" in the first picture though.  I thank the photographer for the correct angle....didnt really want to see that.

That's a BUNCH of concrete! Izzat 3" thick? How big's the pad? Did ya arrange for the metal 2Xs or did you use a hammer drill etc. to mount them? My older stepson does concrete, and we keep talking about putting in a pad of about 12 to 14 by 16 or 20. And now I'm up to 5 + accessories, and we could move some other stuff outta the shed....but I so deserve a better kitchen!! What to do, what to do.
Nice looking add on. Looks like it's going smoothly. Is that just a storage shed you're building?

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

I ended up using the same amount on my garage I built, only it was 1000 feet.  I had some pretty deep footers.  The guys screwed up, I should have only need about 18 yards.  What is concrete going these days for a yard.  Up here in Flag, when I bought mine is was going for $130/yard.  Concrete guys costed me an extra 1700 dollars!!!
