Title: Rib sauce
Post by: bearbonez on September 05, 2006, 08:22:42 am
Here is the rib sauce I used at the Taylor competition. It's a bit complicated so don't flustered.

 2 parts gauva jelly
 1 part honey
 1 part pineapplejuice

Gauva Jelly?? What is this and where do I find it, is it in the jelly isle, like next to the peanut butter??

You have to fly to Hawaii and buy some at the supermarket there.  ;D ;D ;D

Can get guava jelly at AJ's, fry's, safeway, bashas, and trader joe's.

Have the gator fired up and doing some ribs and the leftover abt's.

My neighbor gave me siome crabapple jelly she made yesterday (89 years old), so I am trying that with pineapple juice, honey and some rub.

Was hoping to smoke up some fresh fish, all i caught this morning were a bunch of 3'4 inch bass and one 20" northern pike. Tossed the bass back in to grow up. Planted the pike next to our apple tree.

Bear, take some pictures.  You have me hungry now.  Wish I lived closer to you, or you to me so I could be there to enjoy it with you.  ;)
