Had a nice off weekend, read a book, took a nap, and decided to throw some spices together for some future practice runs.  Read up on some "magic dust", "bone dust"  and "memphis type" rubs.  Had a pile of spices and a few cold XX beers.........so

I have to wait for my nose to get back to normal!! Never sneezed so much in a hour before!!  I like the sweet memphis style on finger test, but time will tell once cooked...

The Magic Dust that Mills gave in the book, well is not exactly what he uses (go Figure).  It is really salt and cummin forward, but does blend well at the end.

Looks good Dave, that is a BIG bag of Cayenne

Yeah, i had to adjust a few things to my taste...my wifey cannot have that much salt, and i dont care for heavy cummin.  As for cayenne...it was cheap that way.  now what to do with the rest!?!

PS: PM me on how your restaurant plans are working out!  Dave Q
