I gathered and transcribed a mess of rub recipes I have, converted them all into metric for ease of portioning, made them all roughly 2 1/4 cups worth, and figgered out the percentage of ingrediments--the opposite of condients, of course. Just for something to do. I was thinking of figuring out the graphing functions of Excel, but I'll save that for another day. My basis for conversion was 240 ml/cup, 15 ml/tblspoon.

Well, now. Can't attach spreadsheets. If anyone wants a copy for the heck of it, lemme know. I've got 2 from Mike Mills, one from Dr. BBQ, one from Raichlen's Rub/Sauce book, one from Smoke & Spice, and a bunch from here and other on line sources.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Most unfortunately, I'm bored between jobs. Which leads to not having enuf $ to buy practice meats...

As long as you keep it to volume, the conversion should work.  It is amazing how much the spices vary by weight.
