indeed if you want to cook slow then wood is the best. Cooking slow benefit meat to cook properly.

There is only SEVEN days left to enter the 2019 "Porkin' on the River" BBQ Competition which will be held March 8th & 9th at the beautiful Laughlin River Lodge in Laughlin Nevada!
This is a 2 category, Pork Rib & Pork Shoulder, competition with $5000.00 up for grabs.
Friday evening teams can enter into the "One Bite Beef & One Bite Pork Challenges" where the pay out is a 50/30/20 split of the entry money.

Who loves to cook on Oak wood? I had guys come over and they were from Texas. All the guys use is Oak firewood and once I started using it I loved it. The flavor is deep and not sweet. Let me know your thoughts.
