Chicken sucks...pure and simple...it sucks!  Well, at least it sucks to clean/prep/cook.

If I had to choose one competition category that I truly despise, it would easily be chicken.  Slimy and nasty are two great terms that come to mind.  Hell, I cant even get the Pit B%^#& to help clean/prep chicken.

Anyways, tonight we are in the midst of yet another chicken practice.  Looking good so far, except for the fact that I forgot to add wood until we were 20 minutes into the cook.

Lisa Spritzing!!

Not to care! it's Saturday a.m. and a practice run.... I'm pretty sure y'all are the most dedicated smokers in the valley right now. You "boxing" it? Thanks for the Pics!

We are in for both Prescott and Pulte....someone has to donate prize $ to the winners.

I seriously suggest going to the Prescott event...even if you just go to say hi.  The Prescott event is definitely going to be....ummm... talked about after it's all said and done......guaranteed!!

Great recap Crash and it's amazing how happy Lisa looks while spritzing and basting chicken.  She must be picturing you on the smoker while she is doing that...  ;D  ;D

I agree with Crash, even if you are not planning on competing in the Prescott event, plan to come down for the day at least and meet everyone.  It's always great to put a face to the name.  It's really shaping up to be a fun event.

Keep up the great work Lisa... I mean Crash...  ;)
