i love to do smoking competitions any big differences i need to know i have had great luch with my brinkmann smoke and grill easy to maintain temps

Well I am new also so I can only tell you what I was told.  Just jump in, pick a nice small comp and get your feet wet.  Then hope it doesn't grow to 70 something teams from 14 states.  But then be sure to go to the party the Az group, Major Woody, WR and the rest put on cuz then you won't care what happens the rest of the week end.  You will just hope you can live to see Mon.  Good luck...."JUMP IN"

Welcome. Definitely get to know your Pro Q. Experiment with the water levels, leave the top vent open - always, and play with the lower vent settings until you get it to hold the temp you want. Come to the competitions, and YES...come see us at Major Woody's and we'll take care of you!
