Wonderful recipe. This Hawaiian-style of recipes are very rare to seen in my area and hard to get in restaurants as well. This is one of the best salad for dinner and at the time of lunch. Great post. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

It is similar to kalua pig, sort of.
To get closer to the real deal. Just season the pork with hawaiian salt. Wrap in Ti (not tea) leaves, luau leaves and banana leaves. These can be ordered from Wantanabe flowers in Honolulu. If you can get Ono charcoal, use that, if not use apple or a mix of apple and pecan.
