Guys, the store I work at has bulk "spicy" Italian sausage, 5 pounds for $6.99.

I got some on Friday and thawed it out in my referigerator, and made a patty and fried it up.  It's Italian sausage, not too hot, but it is heavy on salt.  Cut with ground pork, it would be a great base for fatties.  (I'm picking up a couple more, and am going to mix them with some 93/7 hamburger.)

American Discount Foods, corner of Extension and Broadway, west Mesa.  (Well, not right on the corner, but about 50 yards north, on the west side of Extension.)  Look for all the American Flags.  If you've been here long enough to remember the old Rosarita Foods plant, we're there.

That's a great price.  I am going to try to stop in there in the next week or so.  What times are you normally there??

How close is this passion to my passion for BBQ

I can hardly grind and make my own for that. I guess I'll have to wander across the 60 tomorrow.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Noon to 5.  Ask for me, because I'm usually hiding in the back room.  (And, I'm the Steve that isn't the cashier.)

Yes, not too many hours, but hopefully this winter when business picks up, I'll get more.
