Is there anyone in town who sells pellets by the pound ? I'm looking at buying a ton or two ! I found a real good deal on pure hickory with no fillers and stuff so i was thinking about buying them. I'm just waiting on seeing what I can get them shipped to phoenix at a decent price I might buy some. ;D

You might talk to our friends at BBQ Island and see what they can do for you. They carry a few different brands of pellets and probably are the largest supplier in the State.

Are you saying you only pay $700 dollars total for 2 tons of pellets shipped to your door?

Yes, but it might be a little higher with the cost of gas going up. >:D last order was 693.91. Just put in another order today

I think 2000 pounds is only one ton, not two.

You are right, 2000 lbs is one ton. it is still around .35 cents a lb, which is good

trust me even I know that I just mistyped it !

We are around are .425 lb on a ton, ours are 100% Flavor woods and 30/70 blend is a little cheaper. The Shipping and fuel surcharges are killing us.
