I'm looking into pellet smokers. Does anyone have any experience with the green mountain Jim Bowie? I hear good things about Yoder smokers but the $2000 price really makes it hard. Any thoughts comments are welcome.

Chris,  I just got one on Loaner to use for a few months.  I'll let you know what I think.

So far, I'm pretty impressed.  Lots of technology & fun features.  Now to see if it can cook some good BBQ.

   Hey Jim:
I used my Green Mnt. grill for the Springerville Rib Throwdown and took Peoples Choice Award. I think it is one hell of a grill. Fun experimenting with it. GOOD LUCK
