Saw this on e-bay.  This is my dream car and wow, what a terrific restoration job they did on this one.  Wish I had the $$ right now to get it, but someday I will.

My long-time buddy, Pete, has a 1979 Black Special Edition Trans Am with a manual transmission and the T-tops.  I think it has about 30,000 miles on it and it's been stored in his garage for many, many years.  We used to go everywhere in it during high school and college.  Very cool car and a lot of fun.

I was watching a TV show yesterday and they were talking about Trans Ams.  The '79 Special Edition is now considered a classic as well as a highly sought after collectors item and should fetch a price in the neighborhood of about $40,000.  The original MSRP was only $7,000!!!

Ha, I have the Smokey & The Bandit HotWheels if that will help you  :D  I always thought that was the coolest car, especially with the bird on the front.

Well. My HS girlfriend posted a pic of me with my first--and favorite--car. Wish I had this sucker again!!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Kitch, I had you pegged as more of a "AMC Pacer" or "Pinto" guy. Never would have put you in a baby blue Skylark! Who wooda thunk!  O0 O0

My first was a '57 Chevy stationwagon 210 handyman. I loved that beast. Dad sold it and got me '66 Chevy II Nova. The previous owner put 4 kicker 10's in the back, stillwater 6X9's, Boston Acoustic mid's and high's, and 2 Orion Red Amps. That system would make your ears bleed!!

First of all--OW! Wha'd I do to deserve that! Second of all, not Baby Blue--Darker than that, and metallic. Third of all, Pontiac Tempest Custom. OK, that's still Skylark/Chevelle/Cutlass. Nemmind...
350 2 BBL with floor shift 3 speed and a bench seat. A rare combination that I should've left stock. But I hadda put a 4 speed in it. I eventually had aluminum slotted mags on the back and headers, and a Holly 2 BBL. I miss that car.  Oh. I said that.

Is this what you're calling a handyman?
