I had one. It was exactly the same as the artists concept. Color, even the hub caps. I put bucket seats in it and it was great on date nights. Inline six, 3 speed on the tree, what else could you ask for.
Bench seats, cuz buckets are so hard to neck in...OTOH, the lack of rear windows would more than make up for the bucket seats...
What separated the "Handyman" from the vaunted Nomads aside from the ribbed roof and TG?
Googling in another tab...That's tougher with buckets too...
OK. Seems the B and C pillars and the trim between the 2 back windows are angled all parallel in the Nomad, and the B pillar and intermediate window trim are vertical in the Handyman wagon. I'd still have one of those Handyman or PD vehicles! 55 Panel Delivery...327, or even a 283. I still like classic smallblocks.
