Ext cab, longbed with camper shell, camper shell has 'windoors'.. the windows flip up so you can load without crawling in the bed. I have NEVER crawled in the bed to load or unload..just to sleep. This truck hauls all our gear with room to spare. Our last trip to Salt Lake City (Snowbird) we got 17 MPG loaded down. It's got a 4.8L V8 engine...plenty of power but easy on gas. It's got 25,000 miles on the tires which are BF Goodrich All Terrains, 10 ply tires. Cost for tires was $900 and my last set lasted 60,000 miles! I have never had one problem with this truck. Engine and transmission were always serviced accordingly. It has no power windows or door locks but that's just that much less to go wrong with it. It does have a tow package and electric brakes....towed my Bates offset trailer with it to 10 contests. It is white, nonsmoker, 1 month old battery, no wrecks, original owner, 2 wheel drive, just got detailed yesterday. 69,000 miles...lots of highway miles in there. Kelly Blue Book is $10,200. Asking $9500 firm. I'd rather sell it to someone I know because I know this is one good truck.

No, but I think everyone knows by the desciption. There's a million Chevy trucks in AZ, doesn't look much different than the rest....besides...how do I work this camera? Just kiddin'. Thanks for letting me post it here Mike. I would love to keep it in the bbq family. It's perfect for contests. I've got 3 Chevy trucks (my '07 deisel to pull the 5th wheel and Monica's '06..which we put the same type camper shell on and she will not part with) and a Prius. If anyone is on the fence on buying a used truck...jump on this one!!

Well, I've got one with a shade under 300,000 miles on it and another with 180,000 miles on it so brand loyalty doesn't factor into the equation much.

Besides, what could possibly look more intimidating than seeing a Lincoln pulling a trailer show up at a barbeque competition?!?

Well, as a Chevy owner (Love my Avalanche), I must attest to the Lincoln.  My uncle made it up to Crown King in an Lincoln after our wedding (in which we had several inches of snow), and Vince did win his first GC after using my trailer.  Maybe he's on to something!!!!

We won our second GC using your trailer too.  But who's counting GCs?

Does this truck have a rental option for a team making it's first trip to a big contest in Tennesee?
