I don't remember seeing a house there anymore but if I remember there was an open shed on the property and a big house on the SW corner of 10 and 71 with a big brick porch. Used to see deer on 10 by the little pond down in the gully a mile or two west of your old place. I used to drive from Ft Dodge to Sioux Falls on as many county roads as I could.

Nah, that house was on the North West corner.  Big brick porch.  The White cattle barn is till on the property to this day, but the house has been torn down.  The only thing on the Southwest corner (back then) was where they stored snow fencing.
