Fried beer? Only in Texas - Cutting age state fair 'food'

Source: Chicago Tribune

Think you've seen everything imaginable fried at one fair or another over the years? Think again. Or, shall we say, drink again. Imagine a raviolilike pocket of fried dough with beer inside. That's one of the many new "food" items that will be on display at the State Fair of Texas, starting next month. Said creator Mark Zable to The Dallas Morning News: "Why drink your beer when you can eat it?" Bad news: The beer spills out as soon as you bite it. Good news: At least you can soak it up with the dough.

I've had "real" German beer served at room temp. It's actually very good. I understand why american beer is served cold. The German beer has much more flavor even when it's served @ room temp
