Ok all, we have locked down most of the details for our BBQ Crawl this month.

It will be an East Valley BBQ Crawl this time with at least 2 places, hoping to add a 3rd, just waiting for confirmation.

If you have never been on a BBQ Crawl, these are a total blast.

The way it works is that we all meet at the first location.  The owners or managers will then give a brief overview of their BBQ, their Restaurant and why they got into BBQing.  The will talk about what types of smokers they have and most times, will give a tour of the smoker.  Then we will all order up some food (At your own expense).  A lot of times, the Restaurant will offer up special prices and/or a combo plate with lots of their meats for us to try.  For each Entree, Dessert or Alcoholic Drink you order & pay for, you will get a raffle ticket.  Each Restaurant as well as several other sponsors will be donating prizes for our raffle.  We will do some raffle drawings at each restaurant for you all to win some great prizes.

Then after we are all done at the first restaurant, we will caravan to the 2nd location and repeat.

We will then finish up at the 3rd location (Hopefully) where we will finish out the raffles as well as do our 2014 AZBarbeque & BCS Team of the Year awards.

We should be all done by about 4 - 5 pm.  Of course, you are more than welcome to stay at the last place and hang out, I'm sure they would love that.  Then what we ask is that when you get a chance within the following few days, come on line here, we will have topics created for each Restaurant.  We ask that you post up your review, comments and what you liked about each place.  This way they get some great reviews from our group.

Please invite your friends, family, neighbors, co workers and any BBQ Enthusists you know as this is a great time to get to meet lots of AZBarbeque members as well as meet other people who are as excited about BBQ as you are.

We just locked down our 3rd Restaurant for the Crawl.

It's going to be Brat Haus in Old Town Scottsdale.

A German Brat Haus for a BBQ Crawl? Heck yea.

These guys smoke up whole hogs and have some amazing BBQ & other menu items.

They are very excited to be joining us on this crawl and plan to have some great menu options available to our crew.

This will also be our final stop on the Crawl, so we will do our AZBarbeque & Barbeque Championship Series Team of the Year awards here.

Spent all day today going around to all the BBQ Restaurants & Sponsors.

We are in for a really fun & tasty day of BBQ on Saturday.

Parking for Texas BBQ house is going to be tight.  There is a street just to the East of them that you can also park on if you need to.

Parking for Brat Haus is going to be very tough as they don't have a true parking lot.  It's street parking as well as a Lot that is across Scottsdale Rd. from them.  Plan accordingly.
