 :D  gotcha!

but I am new to azbbq. I came across this site looking for information regarding local bbq competitions.  Not sure if I'd even be close to competition, but of course, I'd like to think so.  :)  Worst case, I get out, meet some new people, and enjoy some fantasitc food.

My personal favorite is baby back ribs and chicken legs.  I haven't had the chance to dive into a brisket yet, but I'll get there eventually.

here's a little sampling of my most recent (besides tonight) rib encounter from the 4th of July.

about me: I'm 26 years old, from western PA originally, and have my first daughter on the way due november 3rd.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

as of right now, just gas + smoke bombs.  they seem to work out alright so far.  I do have a smoker, but haven't opened/used it yet.  Once I end up doing whole chickens or big slabs of meat, then i'll move to that.

I'll post pics frequently as I love food and enjoy posting my creations (good or bad).  The bad ones are always fun to post.  Ever see a 20 dollar ribeye burnt to a crisp (i blame the grill  :D )?
