Title: New guy from Texas

Just a old retired guy.  Cooked on most everything.  Got into smoking with a trailer mounted pit burning mesquite logs. Started traveling, got a electric barrel that could use wood for flavor.  Now fast forward 20+ years.  Now have a pair of pellet burners.  A Firecraft Q450 and a GMG DC for the home and RV.  Starting to get the hang of it, maybe.

Nice to meet you, Jim. Sounds like you got some experience. Sorry that no one has responded to you. Most of the activity has shifted over to other social media. Check out AZ Barbeque on Facebook.

Welcome Jim, great to have you here.

We do have lots of great threads & info on here, but the daily activity has slowed down quite a bit due to social media.

However if we do get more people posting on a regular basis, I'm sure it will come back.

Sounds like you have some nice smokers, we love pictures here, so post up links or pictures so we can all enjoy as well.

Hope to meet you soon out at some of our great events. 

We have a great Father's Day BBQ Crawl we do every year. Hopefully you can join us for that.
