Just signed up and am happy to be aboard. We live in Marana, AZ and spend most of our time traveling around in our motorhome. We just came in from 5 days in Indio, CA and we are spending some time with friends in a resort RV Park in Florence, AZ. We'll be home on Sunday and am waiting for our new Portable Grill to arrive in time for our next long trip to New Orleans, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan during the month of March. At home we have a 5 year old Weber top of the line Summit series gas grill with rotisserie and infrared element along with a newer charcoal Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker/Smoker. We love them both and they get a lot of use when we are home. The new portable on the way is a Grill4All all stainless steel propane fired grill. It was rated in the top ten of portable grills on about.com ...so we'll see. Looking around for BBQ competitions to travel to during the year and maybe get up the nerve to enter a few ourselves.

John, Welcome once again, great to have you.  Sounds like you have a great thing going with all the travel.  There are always BBQ Competitions going on throughout the U.S..  If you are able to stop at any of them, we would love to see Pictures.  We LOVE Pictures here at AZBarbeque.

We will have some more events listed soon.  We are going to be doing a BBQ Crawl/Social in Feb sometime both here in Phoenix as well as down in Tucson.  If you are able to join us, they are always fun.

We just announced a cook-off in March and actually have another we are trying to lock down in March as well.  Hopefully it will happen too.

We look forward to seeing you online here more and hearing about your BBQing experiences and hopefully getting to see you out at lots of our great events.
