[Rub]

Hi!!! I'm Rub-A-Dub BBQ. I live in El Centro, CA about 58 miles from the AZ border. I have family in Yumz. I started out cooking for my co-workers about 2 years ago and they told me I should enter the local rib cook off. So we put a team together and enter the comp and found out that is was not really a comp but more of a feed the masses thing. I started out cooking on an Brinkman Smoke-N-Pit and ended up on a UDS and I have a home build pit that I made out of a 155 gal and a 75 gal propane tank. That this is a beast. Maybe one day I can get a spicewine from Thom.

Hey Rub, once again, Welcome to the site, great to have you on here.  You are not that far from us here in AZ, so hopefully we do get to see you at some of our great events.  Are you going to make the Stagecoach cook-off in May?  That one is going to be a blast.

Hi Rub!
I am new here too. I have only been posting for a few days and I have found everyone to be so friendly. I am sure you will find the same. Welcome! I am newbie to all of this smoker stuff. I have only had the pleasure of partaking in the fruits of others' labor. I look forward to learning more from the experienced bunch!
