New to the group and wanting to get involved with competition.  In all of my exploring the page I am really excited to learn from and get to know people.  I like the idea of being involved with the tailgaiting and charity cooks.  Seems like a great way to get in practice and try out recipes as well as help people out.  We live up in Flagstaff, so I'm not sure yet how frequently we will be able to do stuff but we'll do our best.  Looking forward to meeting you!

Welcome,

Just went to my first event Sunday with the group. GREAT people, and they live all over Arizona, you will fit in just fine. Welcome aboard.

Thanks, Brian, glad to hear.  I would love to make it down for the ASU game on the 30th but it does not appear my work schedule is going to allow it.  Oh well, I'm sure there will be more opportunities.

Brian is right, Chris. He and his wife fit right in and did a great job helping out at Sunday's event. We are always happy to have more folks up in the northlands. Gives us all the more reason to head up to your neck of the woods to escape the heat of the summer. How many BBQ joints are there in Flagstaff? Might be the start of a great BBQ crawl!

Hey, Mark.  Not a lot of volume here.  3.5 permanent structures with 1 trailer.  My humble suggestion would be a group campout.

It would be great to plan a Camping Trip/Club event up there.  Everything doesn't need to be a comp, sometimes it's just nice to get out of the heat down here.

Great to have you, WELCOME.  Look forward to seeing you online here and out at events soon.

My thoughts exactly, Mike.  I mean I'm fired up to get into competition, but if a group of people (who happen to be good cooks) were to escape the ridiculous heat of the valley and gather in my neck of the woods.... I would not complain :)
