Hey gang,
Many of you know me, my name is Bill Keyes with Tropical Heat BBQ team.
Now, the reason for the possible hate, I am a current BOD of the CBBQA, and have been for 3 years.
I cook on a Klose moblie smoker, and use a ProQ Excel 20. Along with the umpteen other grills/cookers that I have.
I have only done one AZ comp so far, hope to do more soon.
I will be in Viejas, if any of you are please stop by.

Seriously, folks, glad you joined our silly little group. I don't compete--YET--but I love attending events, and hope to travel outside the state soon. And I hope to see you here in the future.

We don't hate you at all Bill,you are a great guy,but I think we all hate the nazi moderated CBBQA board now.I think the board should look into this and discuss how to fix this problem.There should be no problem letting people know about out of Ca. events and people should be allowed to post up info,entry forms,etc., at least thats my opinion.Has BBQ now come right down to the almighty penney,I mean Dollar over there ? Something just not right about that ,especailly when people from the CBBQA have promoted their events here without problems arising .

Welcome Bill. I'm relatively new to the BBQ forum so I don't hate anyone. I just want to have fun, make and eat some great BBQ, and meet some new people. I've done alot of that already and hope to do more soon. Hope you enjoy the site.

Welcome, Bill. Nice to see you check in. I've never been to another forum, BBQ or not...ever. Therefore, it's hard to understand why all the complaints about the CBBQA. Hang around here for a bit and feel some love. This place, even as free as it is, is very well-run. The only complaints here is when one of us misses an event or gathering. Great site and great folks here, glad you could be part of it.
