welcome........i just restored the same unit. do you use charcoal, wood or a combo?

I use wood - I prefer hickory but the wood yard on Washington no longer sells it by the bag so I went with Pecan this time.  The only problem is that it burns very quickly so I have to babysit the firebox much more frequently.  I think I like the harder woods better that burn longer...
