Title: Hello from Texas
Post by: 3970010 on December 28, 2006, 04:27:31 am
Hi. I used to live in Phoenix. Met my wife there. Brought her back here with me. I dont own a Fat 50 or anything like it. I do own one competition trailer and have another on the way in January. This (2006) was my first year to compete. We did 12 cookoffs. We did really well and brought home 3 first place trophies, 2 second place trophies, a third and two fourths. Their is a 9th and a 5th in there too. Really glad to hear that the IBCA has reached AZ. I am a member over here of the IBCA.

O0 <--------------------thats really funny by the way.

Hello Mop Bucket!! Good to see you over here!! How's the green flame doin?

The Green Flame is doing just fine. I got me a reciever to weld to it so that I can tow the new Gator Pit I won right behind it. That will be a sight, pulling two BBQ rigs behind one truck.

Thanks Thom.
We are going to plan our event for Veteran's day weekend.... I think. We still haven't had our first meeting but that is the time frame I am looking at. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate them.

Welcome Mop Bucket, great to have you on here, hope you have enjoyed looking around the site.

I look forward to getting to hear about all your BBQ Adventures and hopefully even meeting you soon.

You say you met your wife in AZ, so does that mean you get out here every now and again for family events?  If so, that would be a great time to meet up and grab some grub together.

Have a great New year.

Mike

Congrats Bucket on winning the gator. I haven't been over there in a bit and hadn't seen who won the prizes. That is awesome. Now yoiu can hold your own "dueling pits" cook outs.
