Hey, Pepper here, nice to meet everyone.

Recently moved back to Phoenix but have lived in AZ for over 20 years now. Originally from Indiana. We're in the Camelback/20th Street area, anyone nearby?

I'm looking for a fairly inexpensive rig to both grill and smoke here at the house. Used is ok.

Cheers

Welcome to the club Brian sure glad you found us. I'm sure someone will pop up with some suggestions about a good home smoker. So I will throw my 2 cents in, as for my opinion you cant go wrong with a WSM go to BBQ island they can hook you up tell them you are from AzBarbeque and they give you a 10% discount.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Ken, you've got a hot setup, but brother that's way over my humble budget by about a factor of 10  :(

We've got friends coming in from the east coast the first week of March and we're hoping to be outdoor cooking by the time they get here. I was hoping someone local might have an ugly betty they were thinking of getting rid of before I went and bought something new.

I was in the depot the other day and was eyeballing that Brinkmann Trailmaster Limited Edition, boy howdy that's a looker ain't it. Nice and heavy too. What do you guys think of that one?

Dave, what's happening in 2 months?

Well it was worth a shot. If you wouldnt mind pass it along to fellow BBQers. Do you think its a fair price for the unit. I can adjust. It is marked O.B.O. thanks Ken

Welcome back!  We're up at 12th and Glendale so we're not far from you at all.  I do have a twice used large BGE that I'm looking to part with.  I'm not sure if you're interested but I'd be willing to let it go at a great price to someone on the forum.  Smoker, grill, pizza oven, etc.  You really can't go wrong with an egg.  PM me if your interested.
