Hello my name is Gene Woodson and my family and I are moving to the Scottsdale area. We are from the Hill Country of Central Texas and members of the "Lone Star Barbeque Society". I am a certified judge and love BBQ. Looking forward to getting to know the AZ BBQ community and doin' some smokin'. Where do we find the rules on types of meat, presentation and etc for your organization? Are there any dues? Are there any actual Clubs or Societies in AZ to belong too or is it just a community of friends? In a less winded question, what are the standard rules of the cook-offs in AZ? We don't have any Dues as we are just a social club that enjoys all things BBQ.

We do have many events, BBQ Competitions, BBQ Crawls, One & Two meat comps, Charity events, etc. that we do throughout the year.
