I just joined the website, looking forward to trying my hand at competitive bbq.  I am originally from Oklahoma and I have been smoking for about 15 years.  I have gotten better as time has passed and I have tweaked rubs, sauces, etc. so now I would like to give the competitions a try.  I have sucked a buddy of mine from work into doing it together and we are anxious to get going.  Looking forward to meeting new bbq'ers at events and having a good time.
