Hello All! I live in West Phoenix, not far from stadium. I have owned a BBQ grill for the last 25 years. I now have a gas and charcoal grill. Love my Weber for smoking meats and fish. Love cooking, I was the Hospitality industry for 20+ years, managing restaurants and doing startups. My wife did a start up in Ocala, Fl called Smoking Joes back in the 80's. Really good pulled pork. Anyway, I have been unable to find a good hangout on the west side. Hope I will find help here!!

Welcome Don - enjoy the site. Have you ever tried Dillon's? It's over there on the West side - not sure exactly the cross roads but I think around Thunderbird just west of the 101. I may be off by a little - haven't been there in a few years.

Yeah, me too--I have yet to eat at Dillons. I've wanted to for about 20 years. And another branch of the Neely family; ie Interstate BBQ in Memphis and Neely's in Memphis--and that sicky sweet couple on Food Network--has 2 places out west there. Memphis' Best, or something to that effect. If you head in to town somewhat, there are plenty of places. Restaurant 28 at 51st Ave. and
Dunlap Olive works really well, though it isn't a traditional BBQ joint. Pulled Pork, but Carolina cooking. Awesome fish.
