Hey All,
I am in Riverside, CA. A good friend of mine and I are currently BBQ catering out of Canyon Lake. I am becoming more interested in competition, and would welcome any sage advice along those lines. I am somewhat familiar with the KCBS rules and regs but have never taken a class for either judging or comp. I believe I may try my hand at Stagecoach 2009. I hear that the field is very large, which increases my exposure to what is out there. Thanks for letting me jabber on ... Daniel.

Hi Daniel, glad to see you here. It is a little slow this weekend, most folks are working a big BBQ Event in Phoenix this weekend. I know Mike always welcomes newcomers.

Daniel,  Welcome to the site again, great to have you here.

Yea, we were all out at the big 2008 Arizona State BBQ Championship this weekend and it was great.

We look forward to meeting you out at Stagecoach this coming year.  Thom puts on one heck of an event and it's sure to be a blast.

Nothing like Country Music and BBQ.
