Joe (my husband) and I have been to AZ a couple of times and have fallen in love with the area. 

We have kids on the west coast and we are planning a trip west by RV next spring. 

Since we both love to cook, BBQ and eat, I have been attempting to plan our trip by way of BBQ events.  I have found many internet sites, but not many are up to date for 2010.

I am hoping to gather some insight and information here as far as local and not so local events are concerned.

We are still in the process of putting together our 2010 events.  As much as we would like to have them all planned a year out, it's just has not gotten to that point yet.

We do have some very nice events planned for 2010 and hopefully we can announce some of them within the next month or so.

But seriously, folks...there is a contest on the west edge of the state, Lake Havasu City, the last couple days in Feb. Then come back to Phoenix and catch some Spring Training Baseball around town. And avoid that next to the last big storm in northern Maine.
