Hi!
My name is Falko. I live in Elversberg a small town in Germany. I am a big BBQ-fan. While I was looking for BBQ-recipes in the internet, I found this side. What did I have to do when I found recipes from the motherland of bbq (USA) and my personal favorite U.S. state Arizona....right, I must register on this side. :)
That is it for now. I appologize for my English. I am learning.

Welcome to the site Falko, glad you found us. I've been to Germany many times and I love it over there. Hope to get back over there soon for Oktoberfest.. I have never been there for that event.

Elversberg, das ist in die nahe von Saarbrueken, no? Ganz schoene gebiet! Kennst du Guenzburg in Bayern? Da hab ich for viele jahren gewonnt.
Hast du ein Rauecher-Gerat? Wenn ja, dann du muss ein bild davon posten. Wir wollen immer sehen was man hat. Wenn nicht, dann das ist ja auch OK. Es ist einfach gut das du ein interesse in BBQ hast.
Du hast ein ganz tolles Website gefunden. Die Leute hier sind super freundlich und wir haben ganz viel spass zuzammen. Hoffentlich kommst du nach Arizona wenn ein BBQ Competition unterwegs ist.
Ich wird in Deutschland dieses Summer sein, Ich glaub in Juni irgenwand. Ich glaub das ein oder zwei BBQ Manschafften in Deutschland oder Oesterreich gibts. Die kommen nach Amerika in Oktober fuer die Jack Daniels Cookoff in Tennessee. Kennst du die? Wenns moeglich, dieses Sommer muechte Ich die Teams zu finden und Hello sagen. Wenn ich in Saarland bin dann viellicht konnen wir auch zuzammen treffen, wenn du interesse hast.
Also, Ich muss mich auch entschuldigung, meine Deutsch ist auch...nicht so gut! Hoffentlich kannst du mich gut verstehen.

Yes desertdog, Elversberg is a small town nearby Saarbruecken in the German state of Saarland. I have not any smoker yet but when i buy one pictures will follow.
In Saarland smoking is not popular, it is unknown. Here is "schwenken" a form of grilling. If you want more information about it, go to http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwenker_(Grill). It is a german side but you can see a picture of a Schwenker.
When I should start to create my own recipes, I will show you all.
