Jay, Thanks for the "Heads Up"... Thom's event is more like a survivor reality show challenge. Who can survive through all the turn ins. Almost like the Amazing Race. Last one in each category is eliminated until there is just one standing.
Our next event, we are thinking about having the following Turn ins:
11:00 - Chicken Whole
11:05 - Country Fried Chicken
11:10 - Beer Can Chicken
11:15 - Chicken Halves
11:20 - Chicken Pot Pie
11:30 - Hot Wings
11:35 - Chicken Salad
11:40 - Chicken Parmesan
11:45 - Vegetarian Chicken
11:50 - Pulled Chicken Sandwiches
11:55 - Chicken Potatoes
And that's just the 11 o'clock Chicken entries, we still have all the Noon entries for variations of Ribs, the 1 o'clock entries for Pork and the incredible 2 o'clock entries for Brisket. Then after that, we have the 3 o'clock hour of anything butt and the 4 o'clock dessert hour.
Just a few turn ins, but not too bad as we wanted to leave you all enough time to hand out people's choice as well.
