Henry,
this will be my first comp that I have entered, so I have a few questions:
first, who is sanctioning this?
second, what do I NEED to bring with me and what extras should I bring
third, is there going to be a people's choice (and if so, what do I need for that)
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Jeremy,

The contest will be sanctioned by KCBS.  Go to their website at "www.kcbs.us" and print out a copy of the rules.

As for the rest of your questions, look at the other sections of this forum and other forums for things a team needs at a competiton.

If this is your first competition, I would strongly suggest not worrying about the people's choice component.  Focus on getting the four competition meats done and turned in on time.

If you are in the Wildomar area in March, please visit that competition, talk to teams and see what they are bringing.

Good Luck, Benny

Jeremy - Meat, Inc. will be at Wildomar and Pala.  Please feel free to come by and hang out with us and ask all the questions you want.  We are certainly not THE team to get all the answers from but we stay properly hydrated   and have fun!   ;)
