I am just waiting for the wife to confirm she can get off of work and we will be in. It is great timing, since the kids will be out of school and it is at a good RV resort. we went over there this summer and stayed at a resort on the parker strip and the kids had a blast riding jet skiis and fishing.

Hey all, we are going to extend the Early Bird Pricing to Monday to cover the comps this weekend.  We are almost at enough teams for it to be a qualifier.  If you have not yet signed up, get your registration in.  Just $200 until Monday for a $7500 prize fund.  Right now, we only have 1 team coming from California.  This event is in California, so it would be great to see some more California teams signing up.  But let's show them that Arizona puts on a great showing as well.

We are going to put out another State vs. State challenge like we did this past year at a few of our events.  If a State has a minimum of 5 teams competing, they will be included in the Challenge.


The State who's top 5 teams score the most cumulative Overall Points will split $500.  That's $100 per team.  So, if you get in on the Early Bird, place in the Top 5 & get drawn for the incentive, this event could be just $50 for you to compete at.  Not too bad.

Hope to see lots of you sign up, it would be great to see a lot of you out there for this great inaugural event.

This is for the Havasu Landing Resort & Casino BBQ Championship.
$7500 Prize fund with FULL RV Hookups at no additional cost.  Not too
bad a deal.

We have some great trophies being made up for it and we will have some
great incentives & prizes out there as well.  You don't want to miss

Great part is that it's during Spring Break week, so bring the family
& come enjoy a great, fun event.

could be entered into a chance to win $100 back at the Havasu event.
So, your total cost could be as little as $100.

Then, we have the State vs. State challenge going on.  If we get at
least 5 teams from a state, they will be included in the challenge.
We take the top 5 placing teams overall and the state with the best
Top 5 scores wins an additional $500 to split.  That would be $100 per
team for a total cost of just ZERO!!..

Get your registrations in today as the price goes up to $275 on

Yes Thom, they do, it is all the same benefits as the other sanctioning bodies. 

Great price, fantastic location and incredible week to be in Havasu..  Hope we can get a good turnout.  It would be good to have this one as a Long term event.

Would love to judge this event and my wife would love to help out if needed. We are thinking about pulling our trailer over and staying there on the west side of the river. Will they have a "deal" for RV spaces for judges? Just call over and make a reservation for a space?

Well after a great showing at the First BCS competition of the year in Tucson, The Hog Pit Smokehouse is coming to this event at Lake Havasu. We are looking forward to another great event promoted by AzBarbeque. We are putting the gauntlet down this year to make up for a huge mistake made last year for the BCS Team of The Year. We hope many teams come out and support the great events that the BCS and AzBarbeque has to offer. Hope to see all our BBQ family there.
