OK all, here's the big Announcement we have been waiting to tell you.
AZBarbeque & The BCS (Barbeque Championship Series) have signed an agreement with Good Sam to put on a BBQ Comp out at their RV Rally/Jamboree in February of 2017 out at PIR (Phoenix International Raceway).
Here are the details:
Dates: Friday, February 24th - Saturday, February 25th, 2017
Location: PIR (Phoenix International Raceway) 7602 S Avondale Blvd, Avondale, AZ 85323
Teams may arrive as early as Thursday & Stay until Sunday.

OK, now for the Meat of the news.
Prize Fund will be $5000
EVERY Team who enters & competes will receive 2 Tickets to the March 2017 NASCAR Race out at PIR
Each Team who wins one of the Category's, Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket will get those 2 Tickets UPGRADED to a SUITE... HOW AWESOME is that??
Now for the even better news.
If your Team has already entered the Freedom RV BBQ Comp the weekend before, your entry for this event is just $100 more. (Entry Due in no later than December 1st, 2016 for this promotion) That's is, $200 for both events. WOW, that's fantastic.
For those teams who have NOT already entered the Freedom RV comp, but want to enter both, your fee is just $250, a savings of $150. (Both Registration Forms Must be in the Same Envelope with 1 Check)
For those teams who just want to enter this event and do so before the end of 2016, your entry fee is just $200
For those teams who just want to enter this event and do so after December 31st, 2016, your entry fee is $250.
110 Electric will be provided, but if you need more, you need to supply your own. ONLY Quiet Generators will be allowed.
Once again, we will be having a great Appetizer Party on that Friday Night. This will be one of the biggest Appetizer Parties we have ever had as they are going to invite all of the RVers from the Rally to come join us and compete as well. A HUGE Thank you goes out to BBQ Island, Swimming in Smoke, Anthony Spices & Green Mountain Grills for agreeing to once again sponsor this great Appetizer Party. Start planning now on what you will bring.
Good Sam is also sponsoring a Kids Q at this event. It will be open to all kids 17 & under. Kids Q is FREE if the parents are competing in the event or $10 if they are not. I will create a seperate topic for this so you can let us know if you will be entering any of your kids in the event.
This is going to be an AMAZING event. and if it goes GREAT like we all know it will, Good Sam will incorporate it into all of their RV Rally's throughout the USA. That would be HUGE for AZBarbeque, The BCS & BBQ, so come on out, get your team signed up and let's make this an event to remember.

After talking with Good Sam today, we have decided to have a Theme for this event's Best Booth.
Wonder what it could be.... Hummmm
That's right, the Best Booth Theme for this Good Sam event will be NASCAR Themed. Makes sense, right??
The Best booth pays out 5 places just like the 4 meat categories, so make sure you put some time & effort into decorating your booth.
