Quail and Dove meat are awesome...been doing wing shooting for 29 years.  Occasional deer hunt because the wife loves venison...gotta keep the wife happy!

Where the hell have the crawfish been hiding because we've been camping 3 out of the last 5 weekends and the crawfish have apparently been hibernating!!!

MRS. BOO, Your right them little mudbugs have been slow coming out of the mud this year! It's been cooler longer this season.ALPINE is still in the 20's at night! I put my traps out 3 weeks ago and didn't catch one! But the good news is that they are catching them out of the SILVERCREEK stream near WHITE MOUNTAIN LAKE. I'll let yall know when their hot and heavy! BTW everyone, i would be careful about fishing at RAINBOW lake this year, they are talking about using 2-4-D to kill the weeds! 2-4-D is a main chemical in AGENT ORANGE! I'll keep yall up to date on that situation!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

yup...that's the kind we use Dave.  I know there is a guy in Payson that builds some pretty serious crawdad traps.  Link below.
