Back in the south it was all about catfishing and deep sea fishing in the Gulf (Snapper, Snook, Amberjack, Sea Bass). Now that I live in AZ it is more about trout. I go up north frequently with my family and in-laws and hit the lakes. We are actually going to Pinetop-Lakeside in early Oct. for some trout fishing.

Fishing for sure, but not in AZ that's just a waste of time. Nothing like latching on to a Great Lakes Steelhead!

As far as hunting goes, I go after deer, rabbit and squirrel and I fish for anything.  It all depends on where I'm at and what is there.

Never hunted, but as a kid I loved to fish for trout.

I love hunting and fishing!
I hunt white tail and mule deer, pheasant, dove and quail. Also love to gig frogs.
My favorite fishing is catfishing... for flatheads or channel cats, but I do love bass, walleye, crappie and trout.
Any type of fish are good. :)

I fish in all the lakes around Prescott. (Does it still count as fishing if you rarely catch anything?)  ???

GOOOSE53, I don't know if you knew it or not but the state record WALLEYE came out of SHOWLOW lake just down the road from the hospital! I think the last 2 record fish were caught by the same person a couple of years apart!

As an avid angler...I'm slightly embarrassed to know this.  I think it was Greg Muenke...or something like that....who caught those toads.  For those that follow AZ fishing, he's somewhat of a walleye-catching legend here in AZ.

Havent heard about him or his walleye fishing exploits in years though.

I used to go fishing when I lived back in Chicago (my buddy had a house on Castle Rock Lake just north of Wisc. Dells) and never really caught much.  Never could bring myself to go hunting, I don't know that I could pull the trigger...happy to cook with and eat game though, any hunters with excess bounty please PM me!
This whole tag thing is really weird to me-back home the deer are so plentiful they want hunters to bag them so they don't kill a van full of people running across the highway.
