Title: First time DO cooking
Post by: Darren00 on January 01, 2011, 06:35:51 am
Ok, yesterday I made my first dish in a dutch oven. I got a reciepe from Dutch100 and followed it to a tee. I made Shrimp Jambalaya and cornbread and boy was it ever delicious. Thanks Dutch for your help and advice. I was very proud of myself and my wife was pleasently surprised. Now she wants me to cook more.  I look forward to more DO cooking.

Glad it worked out for you....... I just happen to have a pic of what it looks like when cooking, so will try to add it here for ya. Now my mouth is watering for some Shrimp Jambalaya to eat while watching the game !

Oh yeah. I'd eat that...Recipe posted here? I'd have to add some habs or ghost peppers...or both!
