Bbqczar, thanks. A shame he's not making anymore right now. They are really the only ones I've been considering besides the Langs. Rgomez99, I thought about the patio hybrid, but it is pushing way beyond my fund limits. Even the patio 48 goes above when I add in the doing. Just trying to get things in order. In the mean time I make do with what I have and keep enjoying the Q. :)

Perfect Q = Tender succulent meat with a savory rub, cooked low/slow with aromatic wood. Sauce is just another condiment.

Diamond plates are no longer being manufactured.I know Travis (Diamond Plates owner) said on the Smoke Ring forum he may be back in the future,but not now.

The Lang 48 is a great smoker. I have the 36 patio model and love it. I like the new 48 hybrids for cooking additional PC meats with a warming box. I am not sure about the diamond plates.

Just a question, but are these still being made? Just looking around for something a little bigger than what I have. I've been looking at a Lang 48 patio, and was wondering what diamond plate might have.
