I just ordered the new AZBarbeque Diamondplate Smoker today.
It's a modified FAT 50 with several custom options on it as well as a Fully Loaded unit.
It's going to look incredible when we get it. Hopefully in 3 - 4 weeks.
If anyone has been wanting to order one up, now is the time. I can tow two back at once, so get yours on order in the next day or so and you can have it by the end of August..
Can't wait to see the new rig in Action.
Lynn, any IBCA Contests near San Angelo the last 2 weekends of August? We might be able to pick this up and hit one of them right away. That would be cool...

did you get a larger rib boiler.....
-
Sweet..... what kind of custom options??

Send a single finger salute to Abilene from me!! That's 5 years I'll never get back.
OK, it wasn't really THAT bad.
Come to think of it...well...never mind...

Mike looks like one in New Braunfels the weekend of the 21st. Nice location...
Then one in College Station the weekend of the 28th. Gig 'em !

Again with the boiler, did I miss something here? LOL. I say go for it Mike, and just like a new pair of sneakers makes you run faster... that new toy should smoke em well enough for a slaughter. LOL, ahh those were the days.

Sounds great, look forward to seeing it. Those DP's are sharp looking rigs. :)

Thanks, I'm really excited about this one, we have some cool things that will be on it. Should be a great unit.. ;)

Driving to the lonestar state to get it? I'm considering a lowball offer here and would be willing to help with the gas if you could haul it back.

That's pretty sweet Wes. Unfortunately I will already be double Towing 2 Diamondplates back as I have a guy in LA buying another one.
Let me know if you decide to get it though. Looks cool.. ;)

I will be heading out to Texas later tonight or very early tomorrow morning to pick up my new unit. I'm excited to see what it looks like.
Tom with Whiskey Ranch has offered to go with me and assist with the driving, so that is pretty awesome.
I will post some pictures when I return. Let's hope for a safe and uneventful trip. ;)

How bout bringing back some Texas sausage...

Got back earlier this evening from our trek out to Texas to pick up my new custom Diamondplate smoker. It looks awesome. If you are around tomorrow, come check it out.
Also picked up a FAT 50 for a new Client in Los Angeles. Pretty nice.
I want to thank Tom with Whiskey Ranch for taking the last 30 hours driving out there and back with me, it was a fun trip and it was great towing both of these behind your dually. Much nicer than it would have been behind my 1/2 ton. Great conversation, great trip and great friends..
Here are some pictures from today. Enjoy!!

Look forward to seeing it tomorrow.
How many dead armadillos did you see?

It sure is sweet. Might be time to sell a horse.

Did someone say armadillo ribs?
Nice looking rig Mike. Is that the grill on the left hand side you told me about?
-
Yes sir, that is the good one Charcoal grill. Looking forward to putting it into use this next week.
We saw a lot of Road Kill along the way, but don't recall any armadillos...
-
Is that a new design? Detailed close ups are needed for sure. Sweet rig. 8)
-
Looks great Mike. Grats on your new delivery.
-
Yes, it is a completely custom design. Over the years, as I have been using them, I have noticed things I liked and things I wanted to add, so this is a custom unit built that way.
I still have quite a bit I want to do to it, but it will have to be after Prescott. Just not enough time..
More pictures to follow..
