Title: Diamond Plate Registration
Post by: mcfrankenboo on April 15, 2008, 03:09:28 pm
has anyone else had any problems with registering their Diamond Plate??????

We've been to 2 different DMV's (twice to each one) and they keep saying I either need a whole lot of receipts if I made it myself, or the VIN number.  the VIN on the receipt has too many numbers.  We've been in talks with Travis trying to figure this out, but we're just wondering how eveeryone else did it.

:D I had the same problem.  DMV told me there was too many numbers, but it was because there was a dupilicate number where another number was supposed to be.  Anyhow, DMV required that I have the actual VIN sticker and Travis sent it.  All is well now.

When we took ours to DMV they told us we didn't need plates since it was homemade so we haven't even worried about it, we may have told them we made it ourselves though.  ;) Obviously that is here in AZ so when we take it out of state will there be any problems.

Which DMV did you go to. They all seem like (?) to me so was just wondering where the lesser of them may be?  Or just maybe they knew you were a Steeler fan and felt sorry for you. (sorry couldn't resist)

I was just joking with you and the Chuck Knox hiring was Steeler history for what he accomplished.

Chuck Knox coached the Rams, Bills and Seahawks.

Perhaps you mean Chuck Knoll.

No Chuck Knoll is where Kennedy got shot down in Texas. Right
