Title: Diamond Plate Grills
Post by: Mike (AZBarbeque) on October 05, 2006, 08:26:23 pm
Hey all, I am the local distributor here in the SouthWest for the Diamond Plate Grills.  I have been using the grills myself now for over a year and a half and I love them.  I started out with one of the 50 series and have now finally upgraded to the Big Boy, top of the line, every upgrade imaginable series 70 and I love it.

The first time I used it was at the KCBS Contest up in Taylor, AZ over Labor Day weekend and it was exciting.  I actually took 3rd place in Brisket and our AZBarbeque team took 14th overall, so not too bad for our first competition.

We are starting to get a pretty good group of Diamond Plate Smoker owners out there who need a place to go to discuss these units in detail, so why not here.

I would love to see the sharing of ideas, cooking methods, suggestions, etc for any model of Diamond Plate smokers and let's see if we can't get more of them out here in our area.

Hope to see you all soon at some of our events and/or competitions.

Regards,

Mike

It is certainly bigger than the picture indicates... love it... it definitely fills the side yard..lol.. my son in law to be wants ribs and brisket to start...and he has signed up to help smoke the pig.. so I have a team of 3 now... I will post pictures of the pig when we smoke it.. thanks again.. I am sure I will be looking for more tips from you... thanks  force

Chris,

Congrats on the purchase of your new unit, you did get a "Smokin" deal on it...  ;)

I'm really glad you liked it, it was our least "Used" unit ever sold, so you are getting a fantastic one that I hope you enjoy for many years to come.

Now, if you need a house with a bigger yard for that great smoker, you can call me to help you out with that too...  ;)

I look forward to hearing about your great grilling experiences and seeing lots of great BBQ pictures...

Have fun and let me know if you have any questions with it.

Mike

Chris, that's great, I'm sure that will give you a lot more room to get around it.  It was a bit tight there on the side.

Hope you enjoy cooking with it, I know I did.  ;)

Hey all, we are getting close to the BBQ season.  Now is the time to get your order for one of these great units in so we can get it in the pipeline for you.  It takes from 6 - 10 weeks depending upon how backed up the manufacturer is, so make sure to get your order in early.

Just a reminder that the BBQ Season is upon us.  As it gets closer to summer time and the gas prices go up, so does our delivery charge, so if you are interested in ordering one to use this season, now is the time.

Call, e-mail or PM me if you would like more info on any of our grills.  They are really fantastic units and for the price, you can't go wrong.

Hey all, I am about to put in an order for 2 new units for customers.  Our lead time right now is 6 weeks.  If we get more on order at the same time, we can possibly get this moved up to 4 - 5 weeks lead time.

If you have been waiting to order, now is the time.  Once gas prices go up for Summer, we will need to raise our prices to cover our delivery costs, so get your order in now...  ;)

These are great, versitile units and hold heat really well.  I've been cooking on them now for over 2 years and I have had over 10 of them myself and they are outstanding units.

Hey all, Now is the time to place an order if you have been waiting.  Our lead time is about 6 - 8 weeks right now.  If you are planning on getting one before the November cook-off or the Tailgating season starts, now is the time.

All of our pricing is still at rock bottom levels, we are just barely covering our costs with them, so jump on in and get your's on order today before we have to raise our prices.  ;)
