I'm sure he'll give UA the best year of his life. >:D
-
ASU only wishes they could get someone who would be good enough to be a lottery pick after one year. :D
-
Don't worry Mike....I'm sure they're getting an education at ASU.

That is wonderful, Mark. But................do you think that will keep Herb from being fired after next year? I guess that contract extension was Lisa Love's parting gift to ASU.

Mark, there's a difference between getting an education .....and just graduating. Anyone who has been in any class w althletes at a major level, at a major University, will attest to that.

I know what you are saying, but ASU's current President has been very vocal about raising the standards, both in what he expects from the student-athletes and more importantly in the coaches and administrators he hires. He is one of the highest profile administrators in the nation and practices what he preaches. ASU may very well keep Sendek because he fits that educator mold.

Sorry Mark, but that won't save Herbie's job. I expect him to be gone in 2 years, maybe after next year. That is, if ASU can afford to buy him out of his contract.

You may be right, Mike. And with USA Basketball moving to Tempe and building the $350,000,000 USA Place on campus, it would be a perfect time to get a top tier coach to be part of the excitement. When is Miller's contract up? ;)

All of the PAC-12 would love to see Miller leave UofA. Not gonna happen, unless it is for the pros. But I don't think Miller would be a good fit for the pros.
No reason for him to leave UofA for another college program. He has us #1 and is killing it in recruiting. And I don't think the almighty dollar is a huge lure for him (I hope not, at least).
