I got married in 1977 on the day that ASU played Missouri. I remember because I was at my barber getting a shave that morning and he said "Anyone scheduling a wedding on the day that ASU plays Missouri deserves a pie in the face!"...and then kerplow! I couldn't get the smell of whipped cream out of my nose for days.

For those counting, Mizzou won 15-0. (I accept full blame.)

Yes it was. It was also a week that the mighty Big 12 South came north, and the big boys went home disappointed. Mizzou beat the Sooners, Iowa State beat Texas(in Austin), and the Cornhuskers beat the Cowboys.
