Title: Boise State Broncos Tailgating
Post by: dmreiman on September 13, 2008, 09:07:46 pm
Hey AZ BBQ Folks,

As me and my family adjust to living in Idaho, the first thing we had to do was jump on the BSU bandwagon.  We went to our first game tonight as the Broncos beat up on the team from Bowling Green 20-7.  The whole town goes Blue and Orange to get ready for the game.  Even though the stadium set an new attendance record at just over 32,000, it seemed like everyone was going to the game.

Now to the true test . . . how was the tailgating.  Well today's game was Homecoming from the Broncos, so the tailgating seemed to be turned up a notch.  The grills were smaller than those I have seen at ASU, but the end result was really good.  My BBQ buddy Aaron Raap grilled some amazing tri-tip again.  I think it is competition worthy.  Overall the tailgating environment was very impressive.  It was a real family atmosphere and everyone was very excited for the game.

Here are some pictures of the tailgate and the game.

Even though it was fun, I still miss the Sun Devil tailgates with AZ Barbeque and Whiskey Ranch!

Cheers,

David

WOW, sounds like you had a better experience that we did here with ASU Today.

Looks like a ton of fun, post some more pictures of the tailgating and the BBQ Rig.

I will have to get up there and go to a game with you..
