WOW, what a great day today.  Tom & I went over to Universal Studios.

They upgraded our Day pass to a year long pass at no extra charge.  Pretty cool.  Then, there was NO ONE here today, we had the entire park to ourselves.  We didn't wait in a single line.  AWESOME....

We went to Karl Strass Brewery to watch the first half.  Then back to the Hotel to watch the 2nd.

It was a great game, but I honestly believe that Texas would have won if Colt had not been injured.  The backup just was not in sync.

And how Classless of Saban to run up the score at the end.  2 Knees would have ended the game.  I thought that was really Shitty..

Oh well, great time out here this weekend.  What a totally incredible Experience.

THANKS BUBBA KEG!!!!  You Guys ROCK!!!

Pictures to follow when we return.

Great offer Thom and wish I could take you up on it, but Bubba Keg actually flew us out here, so unless the pilot wants in on that lunch, I don't think he will be making an Indio stop.

We will stop by on the next trip through.  ;)

Actually, I'm a big supporter of the Big 12 Conference. But on this one I just felt Alabama was a better team. So Glen, please don't take your posts and go home. ;D ;D ;D

Really, you felt Alabama was the better team?  I totally disagree.  Were we watching the same game?  I wish Colt had not gotten injured as I would have really liked to have seen a True game between these teams.

The Texas defense and for that matter, the entire Texas team was very much affected by Colt going out, it was one of those game changing emotional things.

I still think Texas did an amazing job and overall was the better team.  But, Alabama did win and got the title, so they deserve the praise, but I do think it comes with the footnote that they didn't play a full strength Texas team..

Where the heck are the College Football Playoffs...

Mike, my comment on Alabama was a pregame comment. I have a lot of respect for Mac Brown, but I'm not so sure he wasn't out coached by Saban. Here's something to ponder, was Saban playing rope a dope at the start of the game? He was waiting to see what Texas had, and then ran the appropriate game plan. At any rate, makes for good post game fodder.

Also that game saved my butt from DAL in our picks. I think I ended up right behind somebody I know. ;D ;D
