My wood supplier has Plum Wood and Almond Wood available right now. Has anybody used these? I'm wondering if the Plum would be a bit strong like Cherry? Thom thought it might.

That's a great question for our Wood Sponsor, Berry Bros.  I will forward it on to Thomas and see if he has an answer for us.

If God wanted us to be Vegetarians, why did he make animals out of meat??

Thomas sent me his reply as he's not able to log on right now, so here it is...

Almond is as good as Oak or Hickory, I love it!!!
Plum is related to Cherry and should give a decent smoke, most likely lighter than Almond.....
I used to bring Almond into Phoenix from the Bakersfield area in Northern Cal......I like Almond as good as Hickory!
